Idaho area #11

Has anyone this unit for deer or elk in the last couple years and how did you do. I am going up for 4 days september 7 to do some scouting. I would just like to hear how big the animals were that were taken. I drew deer and elk. Thanks

Gary, Hike out to Frye point & have a look around. Also take the road that swings out around captain john creek and glass down in the breaks of the snake. Don't waste to much time on top. The elk head for the river breaks by the third day. There are some huge elk & mule deer. Just get on the salmon or snake breaks and start glassing.

I've drawn twice in 11,once for mule deer & once for elk.You are extremely lucky to draw both!
