Finally caught wind of the "leftover tags" and jumped on one.
Anyone ever hunted unit 43? I know its not a very good unit, but its really close and I can get in few evening hunts. Its an archery tag, which makes it a very small percentage hunt, but its close. I think I have seen one deer on Glorieta Mesa. I have driven around there alot and seen lots of tracks, but never animals. Not just driving, but walking alot too. Anyone have a clue where I can find deer in this unit? Thanks.
