Idaho 62 deer

Just wondered if anyone has any info on the controlled deer hunt in Idaho that runs from Oct. 5 through Nov.8 for either sex deer in unit 62? (hunt # 1065) I drew this hunt in the second chance drawing and don't know much about the area. What part of the unit would you hunt in? Is this a decent unit to try for a nice buck etc?

The genetics are there but if you hold out for a buck that will gross over 190" you will likely end up eating tag soup. You might even have the chance of putting your tag on a decent whitetail. Send me a PM if you want more info.

Brian is right on. If the weather is right towards the end of the hunt it could get fun.
There are some good bucks in the area, but plenty of cover to keep them hidden until the rut gets going. Send me an IM and I will give you some more info.
