Idaho, Jarbidge, Bruneau rivers Big and Little Jacks Creek

I drew a late season tag for unit 41. Anyone done any hunting in any of these areas? What should I expect out there as far as size? Anyone seen any non-typicals. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I have hunted unit 41 since the early 80s . Unfortunatley the unit has been poorly mismanaged, and alot of the really big 4 points we used to see are gone. The area gets pounded by forky hunters from out of state since its a 2 point only general hunt. I have drawn this tag twice and spent months out there scouting and shooting song dogs, the really really big ones are spread pretty thin. I ate my tag one year and 2 years ago took a 20 inch 3 point with about 10 minutes of light left on the last day. There are alot of 20-22 inch 3 and 4 points . I would spend your time around the Idaho, Nevada border and pray for some nasty weather to get some of the deer to come down out of Nevada. Email me for specifics if you want.
