It's getting closer and I just thought I would ask as to what anybody feels is a reasonable goal as far as size of buck that should be considered a shooter. I past a 170 last year in Wy and ate the tag. I am willing to let the smaller bucks walk in order to have the shot at a bigger buck. On the early hunt can I expect a chance at somehting in the 190 range or should Iset my goals lower on this hunt?

This unit does give you the choice to pass on smaller bucks. A 190 inch buck won't be easy to find but at least the opportunity is provided. If you've never hunted the unit or won't get any scouting in before the hunt, harvesting a 190 inch buck will be very difficult. The tag is tough to get so your goal seems practical I would stick with your plan good luck!

a "190" on the early hunt ??? You better hope for Snow to drive THEM off the Top--- and down to the sage flats and hills on the East side, then just MAYBE.If not,You may want to "Downsize" quite a bit.Or do You like a tag "Dry or with Sause"?Good Luck Oct 28th ---
