Colorado Unit 51

Has anybody on this site hunted unit 51? I have a late season Muley Tag which runs from November 16th - 20th. Is there any general areas that anybody would recommend scouting in advance of the hunt? Any information would be much appreciated.

Should be a good hunt. There is a lot of private land in this unit though so hopefully you have a hookup or some cash. I have spent time in 51 but not hunting deer. I would definately scout. You might be able to hunt a douglas county or highlands ranch open space area but I would check on that.

There is a lot of private land in this unit. I think that late in the year the biggest bucks are going to follow the does onto private ground. I don't think there is very big tracts of land to tresspass on but I could be wrong. Call around and scout, good luck.
