MattB,
I was wondering when you were going to post up some pics here. I agree with 5 point, that series of pics is great. Can't wait to hunt with you and Steve during the late season. Hopefully we'll get a whole camp full of big 'uns.
Following Matt and Kirby, here's another great British Columbian buck taken by muleychaser.
LAST EDITED ON Sep-22-05 AT 05:14PM (MST)[p]Steve-I just get lazy at school and enjoy looking at the pics more than posting them. Im actually not even "really" into hunting yet. Im mostly looking forward to the november hunt with the hope of SNOW falling and the same with the big boys! Hopefully things will work out well!
fivepointbuck-Heres a few pics i probably should have included.
A snowstorm that lasted an hour or 2 that Kirby and I waited out, it was cold and wet but when it cleared up we spotted my buck and the stalk was on
The buddy of my buck, photo taken approx. 5 seconds after my buck was down.
A couple dinks we passed on on the first few days of the hunt
Matt,
I know what ya mean. I'm gonna chase swamp donkeys this weekend and then start looking for my goat, but I don't even want to start hunting muleys here yet. That's what November is for. Did see a 4 point yesterday not long after calling in that 7 point bull. Was just a dink 140 class. Good height but very shallow forks. He let me walk right passed him bedded. I let out a few cow calls and he got up. I guess he thought I was a moose or something.
