My buck made BC top 100!

Yeehaw! I just got my new B&C 25th edition all-time book in the mail. My buck made top 100 all-time! I say my buck , but I didnt shoot it, my Great-Uncle did back in 1933. I rescued it form certain death 6 years ago. It had been hanging in a one room cabin for the past 70 years and looked really bad. Well, 6 years and about $700 later, its finally in the book. Got to give credit to my Great Uncles, Harold, who shot the buck, and his brother Neville who shot a 385 net bull in 1939 that was the Utah state record for quite a while. Here is a few pics, some of you have already seen it, but for those who havent.... I am not trying to brag or ride soat-tails, just really excited that I was able to find this awesome deer before it got "hauled to the dump" like my 2nd cousin said who used to own it (even though he never knew about it till I found it)

What an awesome buck! I think its great you spent the money to let that legacy live on. Certainly looks like something you will be able to pass on to your sons and them to theirs. Congrats!

Great story! Great buck! Makes a guy wonder how many undiscovered "Booner Buck's" have been hauled to the landfill over the years by unknowing relatives after the hunter passes on..

My dad tells stories about the big bucks they'd kill in the '50's and 60's that they wouldn't even save the horns off of because it was no big deal and they knew they'd kill a good buck the next year. Man, I'd give anything to see times like that again!

Nice work preserving your uncle's buck, it's sickening to think of how many incredible bucks have been lost over the years. Those G4's are just amazing. Congratulations again.

Beautiful buck, the G4's remind me of a buck I missed a couple of years ago, until I saw your buck I had never seen another buck with as long of G4's. The back forks weren't as good as on your buck but it was still a solid 180 buck, how I wish I could have that shot back.....

The lowest in the the book is 190 net, and there are 9 of them...thats the minimum score for the all time book. Currently there are about 1000 entrys in the typical section.
