Well, just got back from the sporting goods store with some new huntin goodies!!!
I got me a RiversWest jacket. It's hoodless but $80 cheaper than an identicle jacket with a hood. IT's the fleece one that waterproof, windproof, and ultraquite.
I also got me a set of lower/upper underarmor ColdGear long underwear. VERY Nice stuff, and I'm eager to try it!
Also got some Codet Wool pants. Seem nice enough, and I got some windproof, waterproof outerpants to go over them if it gets wet or really windy.
And I also bought me a set of Rocky Lynx 800 boots. Gore-Tex and 800 grams of thinsulate. Very comfy, and if you get these, go a 1/2 size larger than what you normally would. I usually wear a size 11 1/2, but got a size 12 this time.
The RiversWest and Underarmor I got because if the recommendations I've seen on here, and they are GREAT looking pieces. Total: $367.15!!!!!! Not used to spending that kind of money...
Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.
