Whitey Vs Muley Fight (pics)

Saw some unusual sparing action going on yesterday. Saw 3 little whitetail bucks hanging out with 5 muley bucks. They were all feeling their oats and acting like they all were big shots. A couple of the larger muleys started sparing and then a little muley started sparing with one of the whiteys. They went at it for quite awhile. I was able to video most of it. I clipped some jpgs off the video. It was low light and pouring rain so the quality ain't the best.

Neat thing to see. I was watching a hunting show that has Jim Shocky's wierd hunting clips and there was a video of a real big mule deer locking horns with a good size elk bull!! that was neat to see. Ballsy little (compared to the elk) guy for sure. The bull was pretty nice to him though, considering he could have tossed him like a rag doll if he wanted to.

The whitey population is this area is very very small. But every year I seem to be seeing more of them rat ba$tards. Have seen whitey does with muley fawns. The muley bucks must have taken a poke at the whitey does. Contary to popular belief crosses can go the other way. That being said, my brother was hunting for muleys in this area a few years back and he watched a 4 point whitey mount a muley doe. I guess that buck was just trying to get what he could get.

Those are some great pics and a cool story to go along with them, I like the shed pic the best though. Did you set it up on the rock like that, or is that the way you found it?
