Idaho unit 39?

Due to gas prices and going solo, I will be staying closer to home this season and will be hunting unit 39. I have never hunted it before, but have been browsing maps for a few months and have a few areas picked out that look promising.

If any of you that have hunted it a lot would be willing to give me some general pointers and information about the unit, I would appreciate it. PM or email is fine.

The weather service is predicting a possible storm this weekend, just in time for the last 2 days. Maybe....

Why is this guy responding to multiple threads that are over a decade old? Always seems that some newbie is looking for free info right before the season opens.

Shouldn’t a vet have a little more integrity than to be commenting negative energy? Whats wrong with due diligence? This tool was created for a reason. The real newbie is the one, who doesn’t uses ever tool necessary to there advantage. Especially when you pour money into something you love to do, that shouldn’t be a money game, but a knowledge game?

Your idea of how to use “this tool” is worse than a guy trying to use a screw driver as a sledge hammer. Flipping off people that could have helped you isn’t going to help. Instead of getting mad at usafvet, you should have apologized for your ignorant post #2.
