Got my buck!

I took this buck six minutes after midnight just on the other side of the state line. I shot at it sixteen times in the headlights before I got my seatbelt off - 12 times broadside in the middle of the road - finally I just ended up hitting with my station wagon - knocking into somebody's yard (don't know who they were but they had a bumper sticker that said "THE ONLY bobcat IN UTARD THAT GIVES A $&^%!"). Whoever it was - sorry about the four-wheeler tracks in the petunias - and by the way your cat should get better real soon! Sadly - the antlers broke off - so we just call it a doe buck now. Couldn't find them in the road or the yard. He sure was big in the spotlight though! My hunt doesn't actually start until tomorrow but all in all it's been a great success - put Grandma's tag on this one (she can't leave the rest home anyway!) Hope I see another one like this!

I think those genetics have gotten to the NM deer near my home , I'm sure I saw one that looked close to your deer last year.....Buck huntin is truely electric eh....NM
