LAST EDITED ON Oct-27-05 AT 10:52AM (MST)[p]Here are the photos from last nights amazing hunt. We would like to thanks our sponsors - Ruger, Federal Ammunition, Jeep, Kershaw Knives, and buck nuts Guide Services. This was a very hard, tough hunt. We had to drag the deer 50 yards back to the Jeep through rough country consisting of sagebrush and the two trees Chad dodged. Big complements go out to the hunter, Mr. Chad, for his excellent shot placement, freehand at 50 yards. Although the shot may have messed up the cape just a little, we have a skilled taxidermist that will make it look just right as it will adorn the walls of Chad's new home. Thanks to all those who made this hunt possible!

...But you cant hang the meat on the wall either!

I imagine it would get a little rank.

That must have been one hellacious battle with another massive buck, in order to break off that right antler like that.

I can't beleive the length and mass that buck put on this year. Here is a pic of one side of his sheds I picked up this spring. Spent several days looking for the match but couldn't find it.

We here at Buck Nut Guide Service would like to thank Chad & Tyson for the opportunity we had to guide them on this hunt. It is such a privilage to hunt with such profesional sportsmen. We had been watching this deer for the last year or so, watching him mature into the trophy he is. After we spotted the monster buck Chad began to shake with buck fever. With such a long shot, we became nervous he would miss an opportunity at a once in a lifetime buck. Chad soon put our fears at ease with a perfectly placed face shot. It was truely jaw dropping. Thanks again to our wonderful hunters.

When asked if he was going to mount him, the reply was, that he already had, but would take him to a taxidermists also.
