Central Unit UT Buck

I took this nice 27" 4 point on tuesday of the hunt. He has 3 inch eyeguards and an extra in-line point that is an inch long between his forks on his right side.

Most of the buck that I have spotted before the season were up pretty high and he was no different. He was bedded down on a high ridge, and after a slow stalk down an opposing ridge I was able to bring him down.

Very nice buck. This is what I am talking about. Utah is getting there in producing some great general season bucks. Keep posting the pics and keep working to produce great bucks. This was one of the better years I can remember.

Phil is a good friend of mine and really deserved this buck. He spent tons of hours scouting before the season and was willing to hike to where others wouldnt. This buck should be a testament as to what happens when we get out of the truck or off the quad and spend a little time on foot. Congrats on a great buck!

I have seen this deer and the pictures do not do the deer justice. It has great mass throughout and and deep forks. Congrats to Phil on his hard work and the reward. A great buck.
