Our mule deer rifle season started this week. My dad was drawn with me so we are out to find him a buck since I shot mine during the archery season. We have seen quite a few bucks but nothing worth pulling the trigger on yet. Here are a few photos from today.

HE'S JUST LIKE THE BUCK I DIDN'T SEE THIS YEAR!!!

THAT WHITEY LOOKS HALF LAMA!!!

THE ONLY bobcat WISHING I HAD IT THAT ROUGH!!!

I wish I could find some small bucks. The neck on that one buck is almost as big as his chest.

Graet pictures and good luck finding a big guy.

Beautiful pics and a couple dandy bucks. Which camera are you using? Gotta know. Stunning pics!! Good luck to your dad!

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, no buttshots, BOOM, no whiteys....How do you not shoot those buggers?????

That's one thing I hate about most taxidermist's deer mounts. They always have to slicker down the hair so you can see the musculature and lines of the neck. All those bucks have their neck hair fluffed out making their necks look even bigger. I shot a large buck several years ago and the neck was huge. It took me a long time to figure out why the neck didn't look quite as big as when I shot it.

Alright, enough's enough! I'm moving to Sask! How's the summers up there?

Great pics Cam, good luck in finding your Dad a big one! Rifle season opens up here on Thursday and were hoping to find Dad a big one as well. Good luck once again.

Great pics.

I like the palmated from on that one muley.

Awful lot of character on that one buck to keep him off the wall, but I trust you know what you're looking for. You're a more patient man than I. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Saskman,

Can you see why I say "there are no big bucks in Utah?" Those are some nice pics and nice bucks. It would sure be fun to look at those bucks while trying to find one worth while. One of those bucks would be goners if I was hunting them.

Your definately in a different league than I....I not only would have shot that first buck, but I would have life sized the mount and stuck in my bedroom! :) Can't wait to see what you guys get.

Great shots as usual Sask. Can't wait to see the deer your dad gets. There's no doubt it'll be a good one. Good luck and good hunting to both of you.

Dad said he is happy going home without a buck if we do not see a big one so you may not see any photos of him with a buck. Hopefully we can find a big old buck for him to put his tag on.

Looks like that big muley already took a bullet in his right ear or something bit it off.
Very nice pics.

Yeah I wouldn't have shot that one with the sticker and torn ear either, too small. NOT

Great Pictures and best of luck to your Father.

Thanks for sharing. Great pics and real solid bucks. After seeing the bucks you take with you bows, I can see why your dad is holding out. But those are some real good bucks. They would be "toast" almost anywhere but in Sask.
