I snuck in and watched this buck, waiting to get a good look at his antlers. For almost four hours he sat in the brush, then finally he stood and turned in my direction. At that instant, I knew he was a good mature deer and well worth taking. I dropped him with one shot at 118 yards. This is a day I won't soon forget.

Me too I couldn't wait 4 hours, I guess that why I haven't got one like him yet. LOL

Thanks guys, I'm glad I had a good one to show you all.

257tony, I'm having the skull and velvet bettled for a euro mount. I wanted to leave the velvet scraps hanging on at first, but they started turning black and it was getting ugly, so I started peeling some of the shreds and the rack looked way better.

Awesome buddy! Now show the rest of these guys what else you have been up to this year. Ol fairchase has been whackin' and stackin' the big boys!

Thanks Nate,
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes!
I'd say you've have had a great year too, and I know it will continue in Arizona...just wish I could be there to see it.

Nice Buck! I believe I met you a couple of years ago hunting up in south central Idaho. You took a nice four point that year as well (2003). Anyway, glad to see you are having more success!
