where to hunt next year?

so does anyone know where there going to hunt next year? i know im going back to the regular hunting grounds and im looking for a couple of people to go with. if you like area 61/62 in colorado give me a shout if your interested.

I'll be putting in for everything here in AZ. My first choices will be unit 21 or 20A for deer(if I don't score in Jan.), units 9 or 10 for archery Elk and unit 10 for Antelope. I'll also be putting in for muleys and goats in the cowboy state. I drove through N.W. Colorado on my way to Wyo this year and it looked pretty darn good. Amazing country up there. If I knew more about the area and how to obtain a do-it-yourself tag, I might be apt to put in up there. We also drove through western Utah and that was some great country but with everything I've heard about party hunting, Texans and Utards , I might be avoiding that one.

With all the great looking bucks coming out of Washington, Oregon I'll probably put in for both of those and Colorado for Elk. I'll put in for Nevada again for bucks, but getting drawn is almost impossible.

I'll be putting in for the Book Cliffs mule deer rifle hunt next year. 6th attempt.

I am very interested. I live in Ft Collins and this was my first year hunting in CO. It didn't turn out so well, but that's another story.

Didn't get drawn this year but we will be trying to go back to 62 next year. I hunt with my Dad, Uncle, and one of their friends usually. Took one nice four point and passed on a nice three point in 62 in 04'. They dont like to do the hiking so I am usually depending on myself if I get something to get it packed out. I have a good area to hunt, but it's a brutal hike. Drop into a canyon and then up a couple thousand feet. Elk and deer but just way too overwhelming to try to do by myself. The pack out has kept me from elk hunting in years past. The deer can be found closer to the roads than the elk. Usually hunt 2nd season the end of October. Good huntin'
