Here is a few pictures of the buck I harvested in '05 Utah Muzz hunt. I been after this deer for 4 seasons. He always gives me the slip. Not so lucky this year.

SORRY
Bad pictures. The wheeler is really parked on the road. Just can't tell from the photo's.

Thats awesome to have put so much work into this buck and to finally have it pay off. Congrats!

And. . . you just happened to get lucky and drop a deer that's been given you "the-slip" for four years, right next to the "road" - the "road" the 4 wheeler is on. . . ? Maybe the sound of the atv has had something to do with him giving you the slip all these years?

In any event, it is a nice deer. I'm glad you got your trophy. It sure must be a great feeling to put one down after a four-year chase! Congratulations.

I have a question. Were you able to drag that buck to the road, or did you have to quarter him up and pack him to the "road" first? ;-)

Sincerely, congratulations - I just don't like ATV's. . .

Hey fellows very sorry if you're offended or not interested in other's thoughts. I was under the impression that when people post stories and photos on the www that they are interested in what others thinks, good, bad, or indifferent. Nonetheless, I'm sure the guy can take a jab.

Oh yah, ORV's never offend anyone do they?

Back to the point off the orriginal post, congrats on the buck.

You said: "I was under the impression that when people post stories and photos on the www that they are interested in what others thinks, good, bad, or indifferent"

And you really think that he is interested in comments like that??? You can't be serious.

BTW TLF, nice deer

Do you think its at all possible he dragged the deer to the road, then took the picture??? hmmmmm..... just a thought. Nice buck and congrats on the four year chase ending up the way it did.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-10-05 AT 03:34PM (MST)[p]Woodruff, I'm not sure if he is or is not interested. I never asked. I also did not see where there were any restrictions on our comments so long as they are not damaging, illegal, or vulgar.

I am very serious. Should M&M start asking people only to make comments that might make us feel good? I think this is a serious issue and I believe this site is as much about the conservation and support of muledeer and their habitat as it is a place to slap one-another on the back for killing one.

What's your impression?

What's wrong with pointing out that the ATV might have something to do with the entire story?

What's wrong with pointing out the many people are very put off by atv's while hunting?

I was sincere when I congratulated the guy. Still am - congratulations on your deer. . .

Anything's possible, it still does not diminish that fact that I dont like ATV's, on legal roads or otherwise, durring hunting season off private property. Do you think it's possible that he shot the deer then drove to it?

Nice and tall. Neat that you got to spend some time hunting him and that you kept with it. Congrats.

I haven't posted much on the site this year. But I have got to agree with Tfinalshot. I would like to congratulate the gentlemen on his deer and I think that is all the Tfinal was doing as well. However, the picture the gentlemen posted doesn't look like a road to me. I too, cannot stand ATVs. This year I had two different bucks that I had spotted and were stalking that were well over three miles from the road, only to have four !@#holes create a new four wheeler trail on the ridge above where I was hunting.

Point is nice deer!
