Well here is my first post. I've been reading threads here for 2 years, and decided it's time to participate. We're heading to a place east of Miles City for the buck hunt on Sunday. Are the deer in the rut yet?? Rumor has it that with all the rain this summer the horn growth rate is good. Does anybody have any news on this??

When I hunted last weekend east of Billings I was hunting Whitetails and Muleys and both where rutting then. I seen 8 Whitetail buck and 1 Muley buck and all of them were chasing doe's. Good luck and when you return from your hunt let me know how you did. I am going back out Sunday also and I will let you know how I do.
