Where in Oregon

I was just wondering where I could find some monster mulies in NE Oregon?? John Day, Ukiah, Mt Emily, etc, mostly Umatilla and Union counties are easy for me to find, I am a Muley addict!!!! Any help would be appreciated.

Lookout mountain is the best unit in Oregon but it's mostly private and hard to even buy your way in. you'll need to get on a good ranch to have a real chance at a good buck in any unit. as far as public land hunts go your luck will have to be so good you have probably already won the lottery. I just got home from a hunt in western Colorado and I saw more bucks than I've seen in Oregon in the last 15 years combined, and I live in eastern oregon. if you want to hunt here look to the muzzle loader late hunts , private land or be very very lucky. I'm not trying to be a downer here, we have good genetics but Oregon deer hunting right now is awful. I have outfitter freinds who will back that up.

Not a downer, any advice is better than no advice! Well I was trying to see what places I have around me that are accessable to public. I am not overly familiar to Ukiah area but have been there. I have heard the Mt Emily unit may have some bruisers.

Depends on what you think a bruiser is. I think a trophy in Oregon is a 160 inch muley where as other states would call that a dink.

I would like something in the 170 range, muley preferred!! I just want a massive non typ, or a semet. 4X4!!!! Around 26+ inches wide and well you all have your monster pictured in your head, I want that one!!!!

Well start saving your money, cause a guided private ranch hunt is the most reliable source of "book" animals. Any draw for premium tags will take you awhile to gather the points. And few if any are going to give up their "spot", which they worked hard to find...
