how much snow in SE and SW Montana?

I am headed out tuesday, how muck snow is in these parts of the state?

No snow at lower elevations and no new snow in the mountains, but you shouldnt need it too much because the rut is in full swing!!!!!!!!! It is absolutely awesome out there right now!

LAST EDITED ON Nov-21-05 AT 02:48PM (MST)[p]Here is a site I always check during hunting season, it seems to be relatively accurate. You can see current and historical conditions.

Go to http://www.nohrsc.noaa.gov/interactive/html/map.html and drag a box around the section of the country you want to see. Time and date controls are on the left of the screen. It defaults to water equivalent, but you can select Snow Depth from the dropdown at the top left.

When I left central montana it was about 60 out and sunny. All the snow was gone.
