Well, here are a couple bucks I've seen. The one in the snow was the best buck I've seen this year. His body really dwarfed the does around him, but think he still has a year to mature. Enjoy. Sorry that they're blurry, I didn't have the shutter speed set right, and the big buck was about 300 yards away.

Those are some pretty cool pics. The snow buck looks decent, although it's tough to tell without seeing a head-on shot. Are you just camera-hunting these deer or is there still an open season?

The two small bucks were spotted just off the road up Horselake. It's right on the edge of Wenatchee.

The snow buck was spotted up the Entiat.
And yes, I'm just hunting them with a camera.

It's funny, it's just after thanksgiving and I haven't seen any bucks really chasing does, and I don't see any with their necks all swelled up. Think the rut is pretty much over??

Nice pics Michael! I think the snow buck will definitely be a good buck next year if he makes it thru archery season.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-28-05 AT 05:04PM (MST)[p]Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll be able to locate some bigger deer during Christmas break.
Here's a cool pic from a camping trip. Just thought you'd enjoy it. lol

Nice picture there of the campfire. The body on the big buck is huge compared to the does. He will be a real nice buck next year.

Thats a dandy, I'm glad he survived the onslaught. Aren't the permit bow guys up there about now?

The funny thing was, we spotted this guy from the road, so we're parked there looking at him, then him and his does walked over the ridge. All the sudden two ridge to my right I see two "trees" moving. Wait a minute, there are two hunters right there! It was two bow hunters and they were just walking on the skyline just about 200 yards from these deer. I whistled at them, and tried to point to where the buck was, but they just kept walking. lol oh well, their loss!
