My brother and I both got bucks. He got a 21" 4 point and I got a 18" 2x3. Nothing huge but with the conditions and a bow kill we were happy. Saw lots of bucks in the 22-25" range nothing huge except one a guy got that I met a heavy 4 point 31 wide. A beautiful buck heavy clear to the tips. Had a great time and hope to draw again soon. nwhunter

Congratulations. Do you have any pictures, I love to look at those dark knarly horned bucks, hopefully I will draw the tag next year.

I ended up taking adoe on the last day of the early half. Saw some awesome bucks on the hoof and in the truck. Wow. My son camped with us and hunted in the swakane, took a 23" 3X4 with double eyeguard on the four side.

Question? On the hoof, does that mean your hoofs or the deers. In the truck? does that mean you were in the truck or the buck was in the truck? If the buck was in the truck... I may not be the smartest guy but I believe I'll need no further explanation.

Well, I'll set the record a little straighter. Here's my explaination.

On the hoof means while they are still alive...

In the truck means in the back of a truck...ie.. DEAD

And not to confuse anyone, but i did some nice bucks 'on the hoof' while I was 'in the truck'....ha
'Course I got out of the truck real fast and set off in pursuit.

It's hard NOT to see good bucks driving around in that honey hole.

BTW, my pics are too big for MM to accept. Got one on Bowsite in the Muley section.
