397 Manti Bull

Joel Dingeldein came to Utah from Wisconsin with a Premium Central Mountains Manti Bull Elk Tag in hand. High Top Outfitter guides Marty Hansen and Brandon Hansen helped him take a 397 bull of a lifetime. Joel had to watch the bull rake a tree for 10 minutes until it presented him with a 50 yard shot. Joel shot the bull twice with a 300 Ultra Mag and the rest is history. Congratulations to Joel on a bull of a lifetime. 2009 has been a great year in Utah.

Yeah if everyone hires someone to watch elk year round for them it does kind of make the unit easier doesn't it. Plus lets face it, he did rifle hunt during the peak of the rut, makes it a little easier. This unit is fine, but I personally think it is CRIMINAL the ammount of permits given away, not in the draw, but to every group, organization, and land owner. Nice bull, congrats to the guide. The guy in the pic is just a shooter, could have been anyone with a checkbook.
