Here are three of the bucks we harvested on the late Entiat archery hunt. I know there was a post a few days ago looking for Entiat bucks. Sorry it took so long to get them on here. I'm a newbie here, as far as posting goes, been a reader for quite some time. A very fun hunt. Lots of deer! Of the six of us in our party four of us tagged out. The fourth was a little forked horn shot at the last minute because the hunter could hunt no more (those darned jobs). This was our second year in a row getting drawn, I hope the luck continues next year!!

Doveman, thanks for posting those picts.
That 2nd buck is awesome.
Bowhunting with that much snow must be additionally challenging.
Well done.

Good god, super deer man. I'm jealous, I haven't been drawn in so long I forget how many points I have (5 or 6).

awesome deer guys! been waiting to see the sucess over there.
thanks for posting them! starting to wonder if anybody tagged out!

Nice bucks. What does the one in the middle score. Is the hunter in the middle picture also a member of MM.

Holy jumpin up and down nice group of deer boys. Man I'm jealous I didnt draw that tag AGAIN! Did you guys get the first or second week tags?

This year we had the second week tag. I'm not so sure the first week tag would not have been better. It seemed like the first few days of our hunt there was still a little bit of rut activity, but after that it went dead. Luckily we got about 8-10 inches of snow the second day and that seemed to push more deer down. Yes crabcreekhunter, the hunter in the second picture is also a member of MM. He is "wehunt", you probably remember him from his picture of his last year's deer from the Book Cliffs in Utah.

Some nice Archery bucks? Hunting in the snow with a bow and chasing rutting muleys, thats where its at for me. Again, some fine bucks.

No doubt.....All 3 are dandy bucks! Four outta six....that's pretty amazing, no matter what time of year. Congrats to you guys big time.

I was on this hunt with doveman10, thats me in the center picture. This was a great hunt, its dovemans first archery kill and I was very excited to to experiance it with him. The hunting was kinda hard with the rut over, but the snow and very cold weather did help a bunch. We seen several hundred nice bucks in the seven days we were up there and many other small bucks. The two biggest bucks we saw were a popeye type of buck, that was around 35" and had six or eight long tines on each side and the second was a 34" 3X3 main frame that had a bunch of cheaters on each side, I shot at and missed the second buck, it was a real heart breaker for me, buts that archery hunting.
My son had a 190 class buck at 11 yards and got too excited and spooked it before his shot, I think he will go back to rifle hunting next year, he was very disappointed. This was a great hunt with great friends, we are lucky to live in America.

Your'e gonna have a hard time getting better bucks next year, but I'm sure you guys are up for the task!

Those pictures get my blood pumping. Come on next year, hopeing for the tag so I can take some new pictures. congratulations guys, good to see there were some big boys taken.

Nice job! I harvested a nice buck during the modern hunt but will be going back to arecery again soon.Where do the deer tend to hang when it gets that late? I would think in the draws close by the river......
