LAST EDITED ON Sep-28-09 AT 07:38PM (MST)[p]This is the bull my buddy killed Friday morning.. I came down after work Thursday night, they had not seen much the first 2 days. I was bugling in canyons at 2 AM and located a few bulls pretty active in one canyon. Went back in the morning and got on this guy. It was thick and we did not have a chance to look over any of the other bulls. His dad was there for the shot and it was a fun experience. Quite a rush, things came together just perfect in fact we had him at about 20 yards and could not get a shot, he finally moved his cows through a clearing about 60 yards in front of us and he hammered him. The bulls were going haywire that morning, we probably heard 50-60 bugles before 9 AM. Lots of fun.. Any guesses on what he scores?

wow what a stud congrats. hope your muzzy hunt was as exciting as mine. bulls are going crazy huh.... ID say a solid 350 bull but he looks a lil broken up. congrats again what a pig...

Nice bull, especially with a smokepole. I would say 335-345".

He broke about 4-5 inches off of each third we guessed, he also has cool little devil tines coming up between his fronts. He had him green scored at around 320 with the broken tines. So maybe just under 330 if he was clean. The back end of this bull makes him look good in my opinion. The frustrating part is where we hunt you only got about 1-3 seconds to decide if you wanna take him or not. When he busted across the clearing it was a pretty hectic moment, but I am glad he made the shot.
