370 Dutton Muzzle Bull

Hunter Alan Lavoie from Nevada took this 370 class pig of a bull with High Top Outfitter Guides Rhett Sorenson and Bryan Morgan on Monday the 28th of September. They hiked their guts out and it paid off big time. He has at least 5 inches missing off his cheater. Way to go guys. Great Bull.

Nice bull. Seems that there is another player in Central Utah for finding good bulls. If you don't like mooseknuckles and would like a guide, these boys seem to be doing ok, IMHO.
 
great bull.

I hope their success keeps coming. I will be hunting with them in November on a late hunt.

Nice bull, but 370 with no g-2 on the right and short 3rds?? I'm gonna say 340's unless he's got a 7 foot spread I'm not seeing.
 
No doubt about it. Very nice bull and congrats to the hunter but I tend to believe hightop is leading somebody astray. Mass well under 50", 2 brows at the 16" mark, one pushing 20 which is good, 10" g-5's, 10" g-3's and 50" beams makes this bull to be around 315. Please post more pics and prove us wrong. No disrespect to the hunter or the bull but hightop shouldn't post something to boulster their reputation. I like how bucks and bulls does it. They kill 400" bulls and label them as 370 because they don't like to get their clients hopes up.

Just my two. Now hammer away at me. The nice stinky has gone back in to hibernation with the passing of elk season.

I don't see 370 but I also think stinky is underestimating this bull at 315. I think 340 is closer to reality.

You loose a G2, you also loose nine to seven inches of mass. So say he had a 12+ G2, another eight inches of mass. That is a 390 bull boys. Ya right.
 
Nice Bull but I can only see about a 340 bull IMO.

Did you guys see the pictures of the bull the guy with the sportsman tag shot?

For those of you who don't know, the sportsman tag is the governors tag but you can't buy it you have to draw it. Please correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I was told the sportsman tag was.

Well hightop outfitters did a bang up job and sucessfully guided the lucky holder of this awesome tag to a massively piggish 340 bull! The pic says 330 but he looks 340 to me. Great job guys!

AS FOR THE SCORE TEN INCH FIFTHS COME ON LOOK AT HIS HAND ON THE BULLS FIFTHS EVEN IF HIS HAND IS REALLY SMALL ITS STILL OVER 13

I saw that Sportmans Bull at the Taxidermmist when High Top brought it in. It is a really great looking bull. I heard the Tag holder really liked the bull and wanted him no matter what the score was.
 
As long as the hunter is happy then nothing else matters.I didnt realize we all had to check with Stinky to make sure the animals we killed were big enough.
 
so did you see the bull with your own eyes or you just going off the pics
cuz i can take a pic of a 330 bull with wide angle lens and
make him look 370
pics never do justice unless there took the right way

Not sure what this bull scores, but telling everyone their bulls are smaller is not making yours bigger. :)
 
Great bull, looking at the pic I doubt it is 370. It needs 20 inch g-1 thru 3 and a main beam of over 50 inches to even come close to 370. It has weak g-3's and has deducts. great g-5's. either way a great bull but put a tape and some math too the post before a score is posted. just sayin.........
 
I do not understand the negative vibe. Great bull again,it does not gross 370 and with no g-3 on the right side the net is much lower. post a score, gross or net with a tape and some math and state gross or net. But I guess our sport is all about hype for the big buck$.
 
I'd shoot that Dutton monster 350 bull if I had a monster Dutton bull tag...after all the Dutton talk this year I know every bull on the Dutton has to be over 420"...why else would the word Dutton be used as often as the word Dutton is used on MM?? I'm just Dutton with ya but seriously congrats to the man who pulled the trigger :)

I filmed, guided, and hunted for 6 years at white mountain apache in az.Filmed 350 bulls everyday at 40 yards, more then one. Not quite a cull bull at white mt. This bull is a 1 in 12 per day non-event. Know how to score a bull in 10 seconds. Great bull but again, total g-3 deduct, normal mass, and weak bottoms. How many 5x5 even come close to 375? A bull needs 20 inch g-1 thru 3's. main beam of 50 plus inches with no broken tines for a chance. Love to gross and net this bull. Again, nice bull but don't post pics that say 370 whitout even a chance at 370. Gross 338, net 315, i am being generous.
 
Just read the original post. Hey, high top outfitters, Rhett and Bryan, love to meet you somewhere and lets score this bull. I'll trade You pink slips on our rigs if it hits 370 gross. What is a " 370 class pig". Class must include 340. Wanna talk gross or net? Great bull but stop the hype and bullsh__!
 
Throwing out a 370 score on Ebay is one thing; Throwing out a 370 score on MM to people who know the difference is another.

I love looking at pics on this site and reading the stories, I truely enjoy it.......but I can't stand it when people start handing out scores like halloween candy.
