Wyoming Archery Mulies - legalities & pressure

Given the practically encrypted Wyoming regulations, I thought I would ask here. Can you archery hunt for mulies prior to the opening of the rifle season - assuming you draw a rifle tag and buy an archery license?

If so, what is the pressure like. Region G & H sound like a circus during the rifle season. Is it any better at all in the weeks before that? I am into backpack hunting and am looking at my high-country options for archery.

thanks

The way my regs read is if you buy a general tag you can purchase an archery license and hunt during those dates open to archery if it's an area open to archery hunting. Then you can hunt the same area during rifle season with a rifle later on.

I drew a late season special draw permit this year so that took me out of the running to hunt this same area during the earlier archery season.

The archery units apply to all units including general, region and limited quota. You can archery hunt in almost every unit from Sept. 1 till the 31st with a few exceptions in different units.

Even though you draw a limited quota tag you can still hunt the archery hunt.

$25.00 for the Archery license and it is good for all species you draw as a non-res.

Didn't see another bow hunter on the mountain while bow hunting 'G' dates this year.

Alot of the H and G deer units have Sept. 15th rifle openers...

I guess I'm going to have to look a little closer at my regs. I'm not doubting your word YH but I thought if you draw a special permit say for late season during rut you could only hunt it at that time it's good for. I'll be the first to admit if I'm wrong.

Pronghorn;
If the area # you drew is in the reg's as part of the archery hunt you could of went!! But there are some area's that are not included so read it very close.

If it has an archery season no matter where your tag is for, the purchase of the archery license allows you to hunt the archery season
