He's finally here!! Donovan was born yesterday 12/29/05 at 5:22 PM. He weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 9 ounces, and a Green Score of 21" (thats with a conservative tape...I think he's closer to 22" :) ) As you can see in the pics, he has lots of hair, and somehow he ended up being a cute kid, even with me as a dad! :) Mom and baby are both doing wonderfully. We are all happy and healthy, and anxious to get this little guy home. I will try and post some better pics later...Thanks again for everyones prayers and support.

I dont think he likes the "pappa-razzi" too much, either that or he wasnt too happy about his first bath! :)

What a good looking kid! Hey that crying is a great sign, and probably music to your ears!!!!!!

My wife and I are expecting the first of March (a little girl). This is our first try after our miscarriage. Can't wait to have our daughter born!!

Very cool. So glad to hear all is well with your new hunting partner. I'm sure it's been a rough year for you and your family but things are definitely looking up. We will be looking forward to his progress as he grows. Congratulations.

Nice!! Congratulations!! Looks like he's got a good set of lungs on him. :) Good Luck with you and your family.

Congrats, if you are like me you can't wait to get the little ones out there hunting with you, enjoy every minute it goes fast, mine are now 20 months old. I can hardly believe how fast its gone.

Congratulations!
We are expecting our first son in mid May. I read your story from last year, last night. Very sorry you and your wife had so little time with your daughter. That would be a horrible thing to go through. I am sure you will make up for it with the lucky new boy! Good Luck to you in the future, your family is surely stronger through all that it has gone through. My family's prayers go to you and your new family.

Take Care,
Mike

THanks everyone for the comments. Mom and baby are both doing great, and are expected home tommorrow.

Gotta through in my congrats...I am having my second sometime the end of July~

Michael

I'll tell you what- its a great feeling knowing youve got a child to share your hunting with. Ive got 4 kids and only the youngest 3 are interested. The oldest of the three is only 8 so Ive got a long wait until I can actually see her take her first deer. Its a long wait but Im sure well worth it. I wish she was 12 now so she can partake in the harvesting of deer.

Congratulations to you and your better half man! That sure is a cute little "tuff" ya got there - I like his hair style in that first picture.
