So I was looking over the site, and could find elk harvest data, but no deer harvest data. Can anyone recommend a good unit for deer?

Unit 2,NOT SEPT THOUGH, and 5B ,UNIT 4 all muleys , unit 23 for coues deer ..Hopefully the draw system and point restrictions will help the herds some ....NMHUNTNUTT

I recently read an article on NM mule deer units that talked about a unit that the NM G & F split up. The article indicated these units were now considered the best in the state. I can not find the article now and was wondering if anyone knows what units they were talking about? It must have been 2.

Also, 23 for Coues. Say what? There aren't any Coues in 23.

From what I have heard, 24 is the unit to be hunting Coues in.

Yep your right , 23 doesn't have any coues deer at all , better not look into that one . Maybe then I could draw it eh , yeah , thats it , theres not any deer in 23 for that matter , heck they need to stop issueing tags , dang thiefs....J/K . , I have unit 2 fever and won't chase the little gray ghosts till I get me a good muley , heck what am I saying , that may never happen , see what ya did , now I'm thinking about it , now I'm rambling....NM
