Is this what hunting has come to. Here is my good buddy Matt talking to his girl friend of the week about his bull and to check up on her to make sure she is not at some other dudes house while he is 16 hours away! He acually sent a text to her before he walked over to his bull. What has hunting come too! I think i need new friends. Just kidding Matt (I think)

remember the good ol days when you went hunting and actually got away for a week? Man, I'd like to have those days back. Now my boss can call, my wife, mom, etc... Oh, and now you get to feel guilty for not calling in. damnit.

My father inlaw would call home from deer camp this year 3 or 4 times a day. Dude, you were only gone for 3 days, give it a rest.

Last year he brought a friend a long. When I got back to camp one day I could hear a generator running. I was like WTF??? Father inlaw's friend brought along a generator to charge his cell phone. I asked him if he knew they made chargers that work off the cigerete lighter in your truck. He said he did but that it would have been a hassle to bring one. I guess a generator is less hassel. -Rant over-

I am tolerant of all the new technology, to a point.

while pronghorn hunting this year, my hunting pardner did nothing but text on the damn phone all frikken day. I'd glass, he'd text. I dont mind sending a message 5, heck even 10 times a day. I do it myself, but after 10 hours or so I told him I was gonna throw the damn thing out the window.
