Nice buck(s)....can't believe someone is gonna pay that kind of money for it though. And it's from sheds. Someone will buy it and pass it on as their own. :)

HE'S GOT IT ALL 'EH..BUT FOR $4,000.00 I'D FEEL ALOT BETTER BUYING A GUIDED HUNT....

Nice buck!! But Im with Manny on this one...I'd rather take the $4000 and put it towards a guided hunt in Sonora...maybe I'd get lucky and get one even bigger!!

I feel sory for the guy that needs cash bad enough that he needs to sell an irreplacable buck.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-14-06 AT 08:11PM (MST)[p]If you look at the rest of the mounts on the wall... I am sure the guy didnt kill this buck and is a collector..

he probably paid $1000 for the antlers.. (a guess)

an investment to him..

Read the listing, it's a set of sheds, not an irreplaceable buck of a lifetime.
People collect these bucks just like other people collect cars, guns, coins, and other valuable items and when the time, or the money is right they sell out and get something better for a better price.
On the other hand, the buyer is normally an antler nut that either likes the set of antlers a bunch so he or she buys them with their stash of cash, or... the buyer is purchasing for a collector like a few of our nation's largest sporting goods retailers. These purchases are for exhibits or displays and will result in a nice tax deduction at years end.
This buck will probably end up in a public place where we can enjoy it instead of on the living room wall.

Might be a taxidermust that got stiffed. Now he is trying to re-coop his money for the mount?

I'd guess our ol buddy Maniac has something to do with this, www.rainbowsendbb.com

Since when did B&C start scoring sheds as real deer ?
