Big Utah Buck - Video Clip

The other day, Robb Facer, aka PleaseDear, called me up and said he had seen a big buck while elk hunting and invited me to tag along. I quickly rounded up a babysitter to watch the kids and hooked up with Robb the next morning. It was well worth the trip!!!!!! Thanks Robb!!!

For the love of god please dont use REALPLAYER formats... it sucks beyond belief and installs too much spyware and crap to use. In fact I couldnt even get this video to play as realplayer kept locking up IExplorer.

Everybody needs to switch over to Firefox...Way better than IE!

Too many documented incompatabilities with fireFox and alot of websites. Maybe when they break 90% compatability I'd think about upgrading but until then no thanks.

I had an issue opening it with Firefox (what I generally browse with) but IE opened it up nicely.

Don't have a problem with the way you have it set up, that is what I use all of the time. I'm on Broadlink now, same as DSL and have no trouble.

It's hard to see in the video, but I believe he had 3 extras on his left side and 2-3 on the right.

The bad thing about videotaping is that with only one tripod, I can't be looking at the buck with the spotting scope.

I'm just sad on two accounts;

1- we couldn't get YELUM up into this area with all the deep snow and distance covered. Larry would have loved this gig.....

2- a few of the other big bucks we didn't bump out like we had the last couple of days up in there chasing a cow elk tag so Brian didn't the footage of the big mainframe 4x4 or the 4 x TRASH factor on the other side... still it was a fun 'hike'...

Isn't that the truth... I have been filming for 5-6 years now on my scouting trips and have about decided to go back to the spotting scope. It's nice to have video, but you just don't get the option to really study a deer. Instead you settle for some footage when you get home and hope it gets you a good pic. It's never the same...
