Western Landowner Tags Help Wanted

LAST EDITED ON Jan-18-06 AT 10:13AM (MST)[p]I am looking for any info, leads , tips on landowner tags in the west. I want to find places wherea hunter has a legitimate chance to harvest a 200 inch deer. I am interested in any western states. All info will be appreciated greatly.

The Heaton Ranch in Alton, Utah (Paunsagaunt) is still producing some pigs! Not sure what the price is for the tags or if you will need to get on a waiting list. They run a classy operation down there with lots or area to hunt! You will need to contact either Wade or Raymond Heaton.

Your best bet would be on the Jicarilla Reservation in New Mexico.

I wouldn't rule out a conservation tag on the Henries or a muzzleloader tag on the Paunsaugunt either.

Plenty of places for a legitimate chance at a 180+ buck, but 200" is a pretty big order to fill.
