I just got an email with a little story of a guy in Utah that killed a 467 bull on Public land has anybody heard of this bull being killed? Wow that is a nice bull!! Congrats to the hunter

What's that famous quote again??

"This post is worthless without pictures" ;-)

I agree Doug.....it does not mean ANYTHING without pictures.....then we can tear it apart and tell them that there are NO big bulls in Utah and that it was hauled in a trailer and that they tied it to a tree!!!!!

...and don't forget to mention that it is just another representation of how Utah is selling its wildlife to the highest bidder and how evil Mossback is for being such a superior guide service and how inept Tines Up is for trying to compete!!

Yep - we need some pics!

That bull was not shot in UTAH it was shot in the Youkon Territory and and they were transplants from Montana. They transplanted elk 15 years ago and this was the first year to hunt them. They gave 15 tags. This guy was one of the lucky ones.

Send me a PM and I will gladly help you post it.

(And yes I am well aware that the bull pictured above is a Yukon bull - after all that is what the e-mail said. After all I got if from one of my brother's friends who knows the guy that knows they guy who is cousin to the guy who took the pictures so it has to right! Right?? I mean come on - it was in a e-mail so it has to be right!?? Right??)

Thanks JG - here it is - none of the above it turns out.

Here is the quote that came with the pic:

"Scored 467.5 SCI 62 in. wide - largest they ever killed in that area !"

Isn't that colorado joe way back there ? Long hair blonde guy that is a sometime guide.
My guess with the SCI score its a ranch bull ? I got a email that said it was shot in the town of Tabiona, Utah Is there a game ranch there . I have never heard of it before ?

I have a neighbor that guides on the Tabby Mountain Ranch in Tabiona. He told me about this bull back in August. Pretty Bull even if it was ranch grown.

That's the smallest guy I have ever seen hunting. He must be about 20" tall.

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

I'm guessing Colorado Dink is grinning because the ear tags are laying on the ground between him and the elk...

Assuming that rifle in approximately 45" long, the spread on that bull must be close to 80".. and the bull would have to weigh 3000 lbs... wow what a monster..
and Colorado Duck is not really a little guy either....hahahahaha.....
