If I am right, I think this is Blueoak's DAD's Buck, but he can tell the story and correct me if I am wrong. Great Buck whoever got it.

Great looking buck.I like the color and mass of the antlers. Do those muleys in Mexico have bigger ears then a muley in Montana or Colorado. Those ears look huge.

This is the buck I got a few weeks ago. He scores 190 and change and has 6 1/4 bases. This buck was 320yrds and more interested in his girl friends than he was me. My dad and I had a great trip and saw quite a few bucks. One monster buck like I got last year only higher. I tried to get my dad on him and he made a mistake and shot a 33inch buck that was a little thin. Still he was a good buck. I will post a few more pictures, as I had a preety good year. I also got my best blacktail and best Coues and a 30inch buck in Nevada. The Coues scored 111, but my Dad beat me with his 115.

I forgot to say the ears were 26inch and the eye to nose measured 8 1/4. Also, Thanks for the Help Kilowatt

Great buck.
Congratulations.
Can't wait to see the pics of the rest of your season!

Dang BlueOak! You ain't messing around anymore! I remember a couple of years ago when you'd taken lots of big bucks and some really nice ones but not one over 30" wide. Now you've got 3 that I am aware of in the last couple of years! Keep it up man!

That is a Great Buck!

What a great buck , congrats on a smoker ! The head gear that deer has is awesome , great picture . Most pictures seldom give true credit to the animal , its usually a deal where you have to see it to understand and appreciate the size , but that picture shows the mass very well . Again great job , sounds like a great hunt ...NMHUNTNUTT

Question for those of you that DRIVE INTO MEXICO to hunt.

Any problems or trouble doing so and what about firearms??

Over heard two guys at lunch, one of them I have known for some time, but they both had been down to Mexico hunting resently I would assume from the converstion. Heard Norm say that they were stopped around 9-10 times on the highway and completely searched and they just paid them about 20 bucks and went on. The Mexican Military did the first stop. Is this possible or some B.S.???
The other younger guy said they were stopped twice and paid 20 bucks the first time and 10 the second time and all they did was checked their rifles and let them go. I am only guessing that they had their paperwork in order.
Heard the one younger guy say that the outfitter is suppose to refund them 1,500 dollars since there was a mixup and did not have a place to sleep and they all bunked together etc.

I wanted to go over and talk with Norm , but my friend showed up for lunch and we went to a different part of the dinner so never got to talk with Norm.

That is one of the most beautiful big muley bucks I've ever seen! You must be be very, very excited to have taken such a classy buck, good for you and congratulations.

'blueboy'...very nice, congratulations...hopefully no 'explosives' were involved....

That buck is a thing of beauty. Congrats to the hunter. And may we all get one like that someday. 1shot.

Awesome big desert mule deer, congratulations! Blueoak, sounds like you're a regular trophy killing machine, I think we're all envious. I'd sure like to see those big coues posted too if you get a chance.
