Inexpensive Cow Elk Guided

Spare the DIY lecture.

Looking for an inexpensive cow elk, guided rifle hunt for 2010 in Colorado or Montana. Must be guaranteed license.

Appreciate any available info.

Go to www.bowhuntelk.com, they have tons of elk and the cost is like $350 or so. Once you have the elk down, you can drive truck to it...I did. Great Service, too.

Looks to be a pretty good deal, but the cost is $350 per day, so if you can get one reliably in 2 to 3 days, it would be reasonable for a fully guided hunt.

Although it's not Colorado or Montana, I totally agree with JFWRC, CS would be my recomendation It's only 30 minutes from Raton, NM.

I am personal friends with the owners and have been on the ranch 15-20 times. I have never been there and not seen elk. If I had the money I would pay them every year for a bow hunt for a bull because you are up close and personal with screaming elk every day. i dare say that it's so much per day because that is 85% all you need..
