F&G Scoping Meetings

For those interested, the SE Regions Big Game Scoping meetings will be taking place this week. It wasn?t publicized very well so I thought it wouldn't hurt to post it here. The F&G didn't even put the time/place of these meetings on their website?

The meetings all start at 7pm.
Tuesday, Feb 21st at the ISU Student Union Building, Wood River Room
Wednesday, Feb 22nd at the Oneida County Senior Center in Malad
Thursday Feb. 23rd at the Soda Springs Senior Center

LAST EDITED ON Feb-22-06 AT 04:57PM (MST)[p]Just a quick update. It doesn't look like the SE region will see any major changes this fall. The units in the exteme SE corner might have the season extended to the 31st so they match the closing dates of other units. There was also talk of making units 77 & 78 controlled hunting units. The F&G will probably increase the hunting pressure on cow elk in the Dimond Cr zone. Buck/doe ratios in some units were lower than they have been other years. Once again the idea of a youth doe hunt was presented.
Besides that I don't remember anything significant.
