Evergreen sportsman show

I was up there on on Friday. The show is about half the size of the Puyallup show. There were some real nice heads up there. There are a couple 350 class bulls and some nice muleys there was a real good looking 195 muley on the wall. I think he was from the 2004 season. There were some good looking blacktails and a big bighorn sheep.

I bought the new edition of the Washington state record book and it is great to look at and read. Congradulations to everyone that is in the book.

We went down on Saturday and it is definately smaller than the puyallup show, but it's closer to home for us, and we always rekindle old acquaintances. There were quite a few people though! The people were lined up clear out into the parking area and it was a solid stream of people moving through each of the different buildings. My only complaint is I wish the isle ways were wider!

There were some nice bulls and bucks on display which we enjoy seeing. We accomplished everything we had hoped with the exception of talking with Dale from Icicle outfitters in the Washington Outfitters & Guides booth, our outfitter for next years drop camp hunt. Sorry we missed you Dale! I will get back to you via phone and email!! But as always, we enjoyed the show!

My dad and i went Saturday. Its definitly way smaller than the the last couple years. Wasnt very much stuff at all. really dissapointed. Saw all the bucks and bulls, and there were some nice ones but i dont like how they have it set up. to small of a space, cant see all the ones they are scoring stuff like that. Talked with Dale for a long time from Icicle Creek Outfitters. That was our high point. I am definitly going to have to go to the puyallup one next year.

I agree with you regarding the set up, especially for the bucks and bulls exhibit. Way too congested.

Made it up there today for a little while. Definately seems like the Puyallup has the edge in all areas. Good to see the heads and horns though.

Took the little guy with me Friday afternoon. If it wasn't for him getting a the free life jacket probably would have been a waste of time. A few of the regulars just aren't coming back anymore. I stopped in to look for Dale also, but guess he was over at the trout pond. Oh well. Made it through the show in 2 in a half hours. Gotta be a record. :) Couldn't even get my free Snuff at the Copenhagen booth cause I had the boy with me. :)
