High Country Colorado Bow Hunt

I was wondering if anybody would share some info on a high country pack in way back on horses to hunt some big muleys.

Not sure what you are really asking. If you are asking where to go, then I don't think you will get very far. If you are asking for info on what to take, etc, ask specific questions.

However, there are some "scouting" services out there. People, who for a fee will give you a location that should hold some good deer, complete with maps, photos, etc. The best such service out there was Antlerquest, but don't think that he is operating anymore. I have heard of others though.

If you want general areas to check out, you should research the wilderness areas where they have the early, high country rifle seasons. units 44, 36, 43, 82/86, to name a few.

Good luck.

If your asking to take some-one in to there spot on your horses, I'm sure you will get a few takers, just be sure they do know a great spot.I know several good ones.

I know some good spots but I seem to see people every where I go I want to get away from them I know it is hard but not impossible.

I think Gator has the best suggestion. No one is going to share a honey hole location unless they get something in return. Taking them in with you on horseback is one option, or if you have anything to swap for a swap hunt, you might get some takers. Of course, the really hard core muley hunters usually go where horses don't go.
