I think it is a load of crap that the sfw took the Beaver Mountain Elk tag and made it auction only at the Banquet that is going to be on March 18. They are saying that they can't keep track of the money if it is a raffle and that a raffle is against the law. I think this is a bunch of BS. And I think it will hurt the # of people that attend the Banquet. What have you guys heard about this.

I think it's a load of crap as well, but I heard that Utah really clamped down the banquets this year. That's why we are seeing all these "packages" and son on.

It irritates me that they don't raffle more tags. I think they should treat them like the Sportsmans tags, 1 for the $$, 1 for a raffle/opportunity for those of us who can't afford $156K for a deer tag!
