Al Morris at the Expo

i went to the coyote calling seminar of his. was going to go to the elk calling seminar of his saturday but didn't wake in time(friday night was a little crazier than planned).

I used to guide with Al in Colorado a while ago. I've seen him call bulls in from over a mile away. He knows his elk calls. He has one of the most realistic diaphragm cow calls I've ever heard. He can't drive a suburban on muddy roads though!;-)

It's always an adventure!!!

When we got there on saturday he was just starting his predator calling. We got to talk to him at the sportsman warehouse both, great guy got us set up on a caller.
Down to earth good guy and his is a plumber by trade. So he couldn't be half bad .

Al morris did not win this year in the coyote contest. This year. All he does is press play with his electric caller what makes him such a good caller maybe a good shot but thats all i can tell.

Jims right I guided with both of them Al is #1 in my book on elk I think Al and Frank always got the burb stuck! You dont get good at something by standing on the sideline.Al has put alot more time in dog hunting than most of us Hell I seen him call a dog in with a fighting cow call,he's good no bs about it

LAST EDITED ON Feb-18-10 AT 01:17PM (MST)[p]Thanks for the nice comments guys, and dont be to hard on Oneshot he cant hate me he doesnt even know me.......:)
And that Suburban was a piece-I think it spent more time stuck than going down the road...
We took fourth this year in the world contest 109 teams competed we beat 105 of them--what place did you take Zeph--

And remember coyote hunting is as easy as pushing a button just make sure its on PM-4 and a real Johnny Stewart sound like the ole grown cottontail...easy easy...:)
