Wow.....great bucks!! Gotta be related!! I'm thinking younger brother or maybe even offspring. Amazing how they both have 3 on the right side, and only one eye guard apiece, but on opposite sides. Definately related. Thanks for the pics!

Couple of Great bucks, thanks for postin'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two bigger bucks in the group are still living. I hope I can find their sheds. The two bucks were with each other. The smaller one was a lot younger deer so there is a chance it is the offspring of the bigger buck.

Nice bucks, thanks for posting. I wish Nebraska would manage for deer like Wyoming does, it can't be all genetics, why Wyoming deer are consistently so much bigger.

Cornhusker, I agree. These two bucks were killed only about 40 miles from the border. Hunting them during the rut with a rifle in Nebraska makes it hard for a buck to grow up. Most are being killed when they are little and stupid.

Hey there fellas,

Thanks for the pics. Those are some damn good bucks there.

Congratulations!

Very nice buck guys!
Congrats to both hunters.
How old is the boy? Nice to see
them out tagging deer that young.

The little guy is only 11. He did not shoot the deer, my dad did, but he was along for the hunt and helped gut and do everything else. This will be his first year of hunting big game. He has hunted ducks and geese for the past couple years and tagging along with us. I can't wait for him to kill his first big game animal. the only problem is he thinks that it has to be a good four point or he is not going to kill it, I might have created a monster mule deer hunter at a young age.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. It's nice to see some solid local bucks. Congrats on taking a young guy out and making him a life-long hunter.
