Colorado High Country

Can anyone recommend a Colorado high country unit for archery mule deer. This year I have no points. I see there are alot of high country units with good no point odds, but I am not familiar with them. What I am looking for hopefully is a roadless area to put some serious miles on my boots backpack hunting.

Sounds like you could pick just about any unit in western Colorado, and you'd find the kind of terrain, and roadless areas you like.

What are you calling "high"? You could archery hunt the Maroon Bells/Snowmass wilderness area as a second choice archery. You're not going to get much higher...
