Time to get you boys back to focusing on something we all have in common, being Mule Deer Fanatics. :)

Here's a buck many of you probably have never seen. 224 7/8 gross mainframe. 65 2/8 inches of trash. 42 4/8 inches wide. 279 4/8 net. Peace River British Columbia.

Now that is a true BC Giant!!! :) Holy crap! Can you imagine what he looked like on the hoof?

Where did you get the picture?? Are you near that Union Firefighters headquarters on his cap?? Maybe someone there might remember him. By the style of shirt I would guess maybe in the 60's.

Just a thought.........

WOW!! Just another super BC giant. That Peace River country is a great place, in both BC and Alberta.

Steve, do you know where the horns are now?

I spit my first mouthfull of coffee all over the keyboard seeing the buck. I cleaned it up took another drink, read Bambi's retort and sprayed the screen with another mouthful.

That's evening dress attire in rural Canada. He must have been going somewhere really special. Possibly a logger's banquet to discuss how they can get some of "their" hockey players to come back and live in the motherland. Or maybe it was a Mad Cow Symposium. "Lets clean the burger up!"

Thanks for the pic BCer. It made my morn.

Damn BUCKSPY, I read what you wrote and spit coffee all over my desk, LMAO! Thats some funny stuff!

That is awesome! More details would be great!
Yep we need some more relevant stuff like this here.
Thanks for posting!

Steve,

I'm guessing that's your dad or grandpa, cause big bucks are in your genes!

If you looked up monster muley in Websters, it would show that exact buck.

Thanks BC. It sure is nice to see something with a title other than MDF for a change!

What a monster!

Damn!! That is Unbelievable!! Tell us more about that Flannel....er, I mean buck. :)

Wow! what an awesome buck! would like to hear more about it please if that is possible?

What's wrong with his clothes? That IS what we wear up here. Most of our fashion comes from the local SAWSHOP. That way you can kill 2 birds with one stone; get a new chain for your saw and get the fashion that makes the Canadian Women go wild. What can be better than that? Throw in some new climbing spurs and bucking chaps and your life is made. :) :)

As for this buck, I don't know too much. It has surficed fairly recently. It is not listed in the 5th Edition of the Big Game Records of BC which contains entries received to Sept 15, 2002. But it is listed in the 3rd Edition of Trophy Deer of British Columbia by Rick Berreth which was released in 2005. That is where the picture came from. It currently ranks #5 in the BC Record Book.

I had to look and see if it was on the back cover of Darner's book. Nope! He must have missed one! :) Just kidding!

What 257Tony says!

Steve

I believe there are only 19 Mule Deer on the Planet that score over 300 Points!!! That should give you an idea where he stands!!! Good Luck
