A few quick questions.....

1) do you have to buy a hunting lic. to apply?

2) can you just buy a preference point?

No, the online app process allows you to apply with just $6. If you draw the license you applied for they will take the balance from your credit card. You can't win if you don't play. $6 is a no brainer. As far as the preference point, NM does not offer that type of system. Jim

I thought New Mexico went to a PP system last year?

I dont want to draw a tag this year. So I'm trying to figure out which states are still accepting applications and will also allow me to only buy a PP. Thanks for the help
