So, if we put in this year and are not drawn, do we get a point or not? Anyword yet?

I do not think that they are giving points this year but may give you an extra chance next year based on what you apply for this year. I also heard it only applies to deer, elk and antelope. No moose, sheep, or goat.

I e-mailed the F&G with the same question. Since the regs don't come out until May, and we have to apply for moose, sheep, and goat in April, I wanted to know what was happening before I made a decision.

Here is F&G's reply...

"No bonus points will be awarded until 2007. No one will start out 2007 with any points because we won't award points to 2006 hunt applicants. idfginfo"
