As stated, you must be a resident since nonresidents can't put in for RFW hunts.
Guys like me with no deer points to speak of don't know what the best units would be for that many points today. Guys with lots of points who have done their reseasrch probably don't want to have the competition, so you can also look for misdirection.
With 5 posts, you will be lucky to get any good useful info. If you were in the know, and someone who had only visited a website a couple of times came looking for info at the last minute (9 days before the deadline) would you be inclined to give info and increase your competition?
That said, I went on a early rifle timberline hunt 3 years ago and had a great time. Lots of work, but one of my most memorable hunts ever. Course getting a 29" 8x7 helped! Nothing like a wilderness hunt. If I were doing another one again (not likely in my lifetime due to the 20% cap on nonresidents) I would look at Eagles Nest, Maroon Bells, Sangre de Cristo, and Holy Cross.
Today, if I were in the market, I would look at repeating that hunt or doing a 4th season rifle hunt.
