Need some help posting 3 pics I got from my brother about a 412lb whitetail deer killed in Nebraska. Pics are pretty good. Any help would be great, or I can forward them to someone who knows how to post them.
Thanks,

e-mail them to me, and i will get them up this afternoon. (click on one of the little icons just to the right of my name for e-mail address).

I tried sending the pics to you but got a message saying your over your quota?? Thanks for your help though. Let me know if you want me to send them again. I'm on shift today and won't be able to send them until sun.

If these are the same pictures I've seen elsewhere, you should give them a real critical look. The pix I saw looked to be a pretty amateurish Photoshop hoax.

To me it all looks like BIG camera angles.
I'm thinking internet legend.

Any animal hanging looks huge. Sorry but that whitey is not the size of adult cow elk. It is big, but 412, come on..Jeff

I have seen hundreds and hundreds of dead whitetail deer (used to butcher them professionally) and I will bet you my first-born son that no whitetail has ever weighed 412 lbs.

seems to me that their was a 475# whitie or muley that was killed in either north or south dakota several years ago??

These pictures have been floating around for months. The pics might be legit, but the weight is BS. The heaviest Nebraska buck on record weighed about 355lbs live weight. I think the record is a MN buck..........I can't seam to find the info now, but it's not over 400lbs.

Looks fake to me! I took the pic and sharpend the immage, and it looks like there is a mural behind them, just not a real field pic...no way...

Hunting Illustrated says that there was a 425 pound(estimated)buck killed in Michigan and there was a 380 pound field dressed buck that they give a 475 pound live weight that was killed in California.

I have seen and killed some big ones(south Dakota). We got one that was over 320 one year and this one looks bigger then that one.North States do get big body whitetail,I think the pictures are real not a mural check how the fallen trees go from one picture to the next.

That is right it was Northern Kalifornicated. That 475"er came out of Modoc Co. Isn't N KA fairly close to SD and ND...kinda like...over a thousand miles from Modoc Co.!

My .02... I also heard it was from Minnesota and was 408lbs. I noticed in the hanging picture, the blood on it's right side in front of the hind quarter is gone. They may have washed it off but a picture like the one hanging could be easily doctored.
Good hunting.

I just have a hard time believing it. It just doesn't look right, but I have never seen a deer that weighed that much before, so if it's real, congrats.

Wondering how much you guys think this one weighed based on the pics of the alleged "Nebraska buck" above?

220lb. Good looking buck too.

Nay sayers watch out. This thing might just be real.

I believe it when we lived in wis my dad shot a buck that dressed out at 275lb.

Doesn't modoc county have blacktails, where bucks average 125 to 150 pounds? 475 lbs? must see in person to believe

That buck was posted on the Nebraska web site in December. I think the story on it then was that it was shot somewhere south of Lincoln in Lancaster county. I'm not sure that's true it was off the internet, they do produce some huge bucks because of the easy food source but I'm not sure they produce them that big.

The pictures do look strange. All the leaves have fallen from the trees but the vegetation on the ground is still green.
