Utah draws

cc post after MIDNIGHT! however you can call your cc and ask about inquires from Utah and tag price and lesser tag ..so I ask about my LE tag which is more than my gen deer tag.

I don't think anyone has been hit yet...but it should be soon...
This is the one time of the year I love seeing a charge to my Credit card!!!!!
 
I've been checking mine every half hour or so. I don't know why I am so anxious about it, after all, I know I'm getting drawn with 10 bonus points for an archery Elk tag. I just hope I can get in good shape before its time to hit the hills. I hope everyone gets the permit they want (except for the people that applied for the same unit I did).
 
I got a hit too, it looks like a pulled a general northern mule deer tag!
 
Im kinda jealous I haven't been hit yet. But maybe I dont want to be yet if all you guys are only getting hit up for $40.
 
Well im assuming its a northern region general tag, might be that san rafel north antelope tag though, doubt it though.

What credit card companies do you guys use? I have a Cabelas Visa I use for the hunt draws. Maybe my card company is just slow at posting charges? I don't think I will draw anything anyways. I have the Cabelas card as well. You need to look at the "available balance". If you see a drop in it that you aren't expecting, it means sonmeone is trying to authorize a charge. You can call the CC company and they will tell you who is making a "hit" on your card. The actual charge won't show for a few days but this is how people are getting a jump on the results.

I cant believe it!!! I am being charged about $1600.00 from Utah...this could only mean DESERT BIGHORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife is gonna kill me

Was just looking at our CC accounts, and both my son and I have a $1.00 charge both credited the same day... Wonder if there is something up with that? Anybody else have this happen???
 
Even mice cost more than 1.00 to hunt now days?Just kidding something could be up check again Thursday.
 
they sometimes run a buck or two to see if the card # is still good? just a thought
 
That is what we are thinking and hoping for. Tomorrow will probably solve the mystery... If that is the case, we'll have at least two LE permits this year.

Weird thing is, my debit account shows my Available Balance to be exaclty $1.00 off of my Ledger Balance. I hope that this is a sign that I drew...if so I will be hunting Book CLiffs Rifle this year!! WOo HOO!!

First my LE ELk tag in 2004 (with 2 points) and now my LE Deer Tag with 2 or 3 points...i cant remember. :)

Just checked my account again this morning, and now the $1.00 charge on both my son and my own account is gone???? It doesn't even show that it was even there... Guess it could have been a dream, but for both of us...

Hope your $1.00 is for that Deer Tag, Tuff... Where did you apply for deer at???
 
YEAHOOOOOO!!!!

My buddy, Wideone and I put in as a group this year and this morning there's a pending charge on my VISA for $106!!!! Limited entry charges for buck deer in UT are $53 a piece so you know what that means Wideone! Yep you and I are hunting MONSTER BUCKS at the Book Cliffs this year!!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Oh yeah! It's kind of like a Christmas/Birthday/Thanksgiving/Father's Day combo and then some! I honestly can't sit still for more than 2 minutes without jumping up and freaking out a little... :)

Just barely got hit for $40. All you guys that drew the LE tags did you get the deer and the LE charge together?
 
I thought I got a hit, turns out it was a hit from a different source, so I guess im still waiting.

Just read a guy's post on the DWR's site that he drew a LE Elk tag. First one I've heard of. Things should really start happening now. Good luck to all. I'm on a waiting period for Elk and only bought points for Deer/Sheep, so I'm anxiously awaiting for all my buddies and family!!

Don't worry too bad. I just got hit on my credit card for $40 for a General Southern Deer tag, and I don't have any preference points. I think everybody else gave up so I could hunt two years in a row. THANKS EVERYBODY. I really appreciate it.
 
For those who have gotten the charges on their cards, what kind of cards are you using???

Ive got an unknown $1.00 charge on my Washington Mutual Mastercard.

Exactly what is this $1.00 charge? Are those of you who drew tags getting the $1.00 charge prior to getting the hit for the tag fee? Please tell me that you are.
 
I used a debit card, and was charged the entire $40. It's marked as "pending" until it gets finalized.

Just got hit for $280 dollars and was thinking that might be an Elk hunt this fall, but after verifying with the credit card company it was 4 transactions of $160 + $40 + $40 +40 = $280. That means that my father-n-law and three brother-n-laws (group application) will be hunting central region rifle deer, and the three seperate charges are for 3 out of the following 4, with 1 not drawing a central region rifle tag: my dad, my wife and my two younger brothers. One of the four will not get a tag for the first time. I guess it is there turn. I am still holding out and hoping, but for something else to show up, I would love the elk tag but 9 points is a long shot, but I though 5 points for antelope would draw for my wife. I have had 5 family members draw with no points or 1 point and my wife can't draw the tag for anything.

My first chioce was Henry's deer tag and 2nd choice was General Northern and My account was hit for 80.00 one for me and one for my son... so I drew 2nd choice.

My dads card was hit for $280 (LE Elk) Unbelievable, I drew LE
elk muzz last year with nine points he draws with one.

My cousin just got dinged $280 on his Discovery Card. It looks like I'll be spotter on Big bull hunt this fall. Good luck to everybody!

Did you guys call your Credit Card company and confirm who posted the $1 charge? They should be able to easily tell you who it was, etc.

I must be the only one that hasnt drawn out yet. I would have thought at least my wife would pick up a GS central tag, or me a muzzleloader tag. I am having panic attacks here. 1shot.
 
finallyyyyyyyyyyyy wife called credit union , said was a "pending" charge from the 19th for utah bucks and bulls ,,, 1st choice southern general rifle 2nd southeastern , just gotta wait and see which one now ,,,, might not matter though i've been driving wife crazy ,,, thinking she'll just kill me now :)

My dad has a deer tag fee pending but you guys that have said ya drew an LE deer unit.. how can we tell if he drew Deseret buck or just Gen deer tag..... same fee.... thanks.
 
FYI: CC websites seem to be 2-3 days behind posting actual charges. I noticed my available balance dropped $288 dollars on the 20th and still no actual posting as of today so I called and the charge by DOW was made on the 20th. So, if your charge hasn't actually shown up yet,,,,,there is still hope!

My credit card has posts up to yesterday, nothing from Utah. I start out the draw season 0-1.

Just got a $463 hit on my Cabela's card. Either I drew the only non resident archery tag for south slope with 0 points or my son drew the muzzy Paunsaugunt hunt. His luck has been running good lately, he just got a full ride scholarship to the U of Hawaii as a runningback yesterday. Can't wait to go watch some games.

Still not hits on my cc for any of the LE permits we applied for. We're buying over the counter GS northern deer permits and GS elk permits this year, so we wait until June for the charges. However, here's to still hoping the DWR is not done charging cards yet.

Well, that misterious $1.00 charge on my Credit Card, still remains a mystery. I thought it might be a sign that I drew, but now Im sure I didnt. My father in law's CC just got hit for $120.00....the amount for his, mine, and my brother in laws deer tags. :(

Oh well, at least I'll be hunting somewhere this year. Now I just have to wait to see which unit I drew out on.

The LE deer is $53.00 but the CWMU deer is the same as Gen. deer, $40.00 soooooo we will have to wait until this week to see if Dad hit Deseret or just a Gen. tag...
 
Just checked my C/C. I drew a Southern Deer tag. No elk tag as yet! I'll keep hoping. Best of luck to all!
